Michael William Burke M.D.
Michael William Burke M.D. is a graduate of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and Tulane University. He has a dual fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Board-certified in four disciplines; Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Burke has been a resident of Bradenton since 2012. Prior to that, he would visit often with family on Longboat Key and that’s why he chose our community to practice and raise a family. In January of 2019, Dr. Michael Burke fulfilled his dream and opened his own practice called Gulf Coast Pulmonary and Sleep here in Bradenton, Florida.
Gulf Coast Pulmonary and Sleep is excited to announce the newest addition to our team, Nurse Practitioner Maria Lowery. Maria is a compassionate and skilled practitioner who has over 15 years of medical experience in emergency medicine.
Maria moved to Florida from Ohio when she was 21 years old. She attended St. Petersburg College where she earned both an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate of Science degree, before graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. She went on to the University of Cincinnati where she earned her Master of Science in 2019, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.
